Reference standard for PE plastic packaging film

PE plastic packaging film is a kind of film-like fixed form with thickness of 0.002-0.3mm, which is made of film grade polyethylene particles and processed by blowing or casting. With the popularization of plastic packaging products, PE plastic packaging film has a larger and larger share in the market. It is widely used in hardware machinery, auto parts, logistics express, furniture appliances, food medicine, clothing chemical industry and other industries. These products have brought great convenience to people's life.
The performance of different kinds of plastic packaging film is different. When choosing, we need to consider some basic functions of plastic packaging film, mainly the protection function, promotion function, adaptability to packaging machinery and other special requirements in application. It is divided into the following 13 items, which we call 13 reference standards:
1. Protection function
As a packaging material, the protection function of plastic film is the most important and basic function. If the plastic film has no reliable protective effect on the packaged goods, causing damage or devaluation of the goods, then it will lose its use value as a packaging material. The protection function of plastic film for commodities is various. Different commodities, different packaging forms, and different emphasis on the protection function of plastic packaging film.
2. Mechanical protection
To prevent the damage and pollution of goods caused by the leakage of goods in the package or the entry of external substances into the package. The performance indexes that directly reflect the mechanical protection function of the plastic film are mainly the mechanical strength of the film, such as tensile strength, tear strength, falling impact strength (falling impact) and puncture resistance strength.
3. Good welding strength
The welding strength is also a necessary condition for the plastic film bag to reliably protect the commodity. If the weld strength is insufficient, the weld will become the fatal weakness of the plastic film bag, and the plastic bag will lose its protection to the commodity due to the weld fracture.
4. Barrier performance
Barrier performance refers to the ability of plastic film to prevent oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen and other gases as well as aroma, water vapor and other substances from penetrating. In the absence of a clear range, it generally refers to the barrier of non-polar gases such as oxygen, carbon dioxide and nitrogen. The effect of plastic film on commodity display is closely related to the transmittance, haze, glossiness, antistatic and printability of the film itself, which needs to be paid enough attention to.
5. Transmittance and haze
Light transmittance and haze are important indexes to determine the visibility and clarity of packaged goods, which have a great relationship with the display effect of goods. Both transmittance and haze are expressed as percentage. The larger the transmittance is, the better the transparency of the film is; and the larger the haze is, the greater the turbidity of the object observed through the film is, the worse the clarity is.
6. glossiness
Glossiness indicates the reflective ability of the plastic film when it loves light, expressed as the percentage of the reflected light brightness of the sample relative to the standard surface in the positive reflection direction.
7. Antistatic
With the rapid development of electronic industry, the integration degree of electronic circuit board is higher and higher. Packaging products with antistatic film can avoid static damage to integrated circuits.
8. Good smoothness
Good smoothness is conducive to the smooth movement of the film in the packaging production line during the packaging process, so as to avoid its damage due to excessive resistance during the movement. The smoothness of the film can be described by its friction coefficient. The smaller the friction coefficient, the better the smoothness.
9. High temperature resistance
It is often necessary to consider the high and low temperature resistance of the film, such as cold storage, especially the use of plastic packaging film for frozen food, which needs to have good low temperature resistance; the use of plastic packaging film for cooking food, which needs to have good high temperature resistance and so on.
10. Hygienic performance
When packaging food or pharmaceutical products, the selected plastic packaging film must have good hygienic performance and meet the requirements of relevant national hygienic standards, so as to ensure that the plastic film will not cause pollution to the packaged goods.
11. tightness
Good air tightness can effectively block the gas exchange inside and outside the packaging container, which is necessary for most products.
12. moisture resistance
Good moisture resistance is an effective way to protect commodities. Generally, the moisture resistance of plastic film increases with the increase of thickness and decreases with the decrease of temperature.
13. oil resistance
For oily food, such as sausages, bacon, etc., the packaging film must be oil-resistant, otherwise the product quality will be affected.
